Frequently Asked Questions

Who does FMM Consulting work with?
FMM Consulting is designed for small businesses, small offices and owner-managed organizations that need clearer processes, stronger systems or practical operational support.
What kinds of problems can FMM help address?
FMM can help investigate and address unclear workflows, repeated mistakes, owner or employee dependency, undocumented procedures, outdated forms, training gaps, inconsistent handoffs, missing controls and other operational challenges.
Â
What if my problem is not listed on the website?
The examples on the website are not limitations. FMM begins by understanding what is happening, identifying the underlying cause and determining whether a practical solution can be developed within the firm’s services.
How do I know which service I need?
You do not need to choose perfectly before contacting FMM. Describe the problem in the consultation request. After reviewing your needs, FMM can identify the most appropriate starting point or explain if the request is outside scope.
What is the difference between the three services?
The Operations Assessment identifies gaps and priorities. Systems and Process Solutions develops or improves one primary process, system or tool. Operations Transformation addresses several connected operational needs through coordinated assessment, deliverables and implementation support.
What happens after I request a consultation?
FMM reviews the information and generally responds within two business days. If the request appears suitable, the next step may be a brief discussion, the private questionnaire or a consultation, depending on the information needed.
Are services available remotely?
Yes. Services may include remote consultations and document review. On-site support may be available in the South Florida service area when appropriate and included in the proposal.
How long does a project take?
Timing depends on the service, scope, complexity, availability of information and speed of client feedback. The written proposal will identify the anticipated timeline.
Will FMM implement the recommendations?
Implementation depends on the selected service. The Operations Assessment does not automatically include implementation. Systems and Process Solutions includes development and handoff of the agreed solution. Operations Transformation includes the implementation support stated in the proposal.
Will FMM train my employees?
Training may be included when expressly stated in the proposal or added as a separately priced service. It is not automatically included in every package.
How does pricing work?
The website shows starting prices. Final pricing depends on the project scope and requirements and will be confirmed in a written proposal before work begins.
Can FMM guarantee that I will make more money?
No. Better systems and processes may help a business reduce inefficiency, protect resources and increase capacity, but results depend on many factors outside FMM’s control. No revenue, profit or other financial outcome is guaranteed.
How is business information handled?
FMM requests only information relevant to the engagement and uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. Clients should redact unnecessary sensitive information and follow the upload instructions provided.
Â
What documents might I be asked to provide?
Depending on scope, FMM may request existing procedures, forms, checklists, schedules, trackers, training materials or other operational documents. Do not provide sensitive information unless it is necessary, authorized and specifically requested.
Does FMM provide legal, accounting or compliance advice?
No. FMM provides business operations and process-improvement services. Legal, tax, accounting, financial, immigration, employment-law, regulatory and other licensed matters should be addressed by qualified professionals.
What if I am still unsure whether FMM is a good fit?
Submit a consultation request and describe the challenge. FMM will review the information and explain whether the request appears to fit the firm’s services.
